In
addition to the wedding plans, Tim and I have been busy
making plans to build a home in Red Oak, next to Tim's
parents, Billie and Art. At the moment, we're still
negotiating with three builders, and the results of our
negotiations will determine whether we build a log home
or a conventional frame home. Either way, the floorplan
will be the same -- click here to see for
yourself. (Tim did this design on a shareware CAD
program, so everything is not exactly to scale, but it
will give you a good idea of the general layout.) One of the builders is a local contractor who doesn't yet have a website; the other two are Satterwhite and United Bilt. Both have

home will look a little different because of the
wrap-around porch and other custom touches we're adding,
like bay windows and French doors.
