Altered Visions You've seen pages dedicated to stories inspired by "The Wish," right? Well, I got inspired by a different alternate reality: in "Birthday," Cordelia was given the chance to live her life such as it would have been if she hadn't met up with Angel in L.A. So instead of helping create Angel Investigations, she became a popular television actress. And without her there, Angel received the visions after Doyle's death...and eventually went insane.

This is not exactly your typical series, but rather my way of answering several questions that the episode brought to mind. How did Angel get the visions, and why did he go insane? If everything hadn't been reversed, what would have happened next?

And why is Cordelia always the reason for these alternate realities, anyway?
