No, this isn't a photo of a Canadian city.  It's a picture I took in London.  I only noticed the three Canadian flags in this photo when I got home.  I didn't have enough time to really experience London, unfortunately.  I did visit the British Museum (and got only a brief taste of it) and got harassed by a couple of skinheads as I wandered around the city.  So much for my London experience....:)

Here I am squinting in Munich, Germany.  Quite an interesting city, especially given its history.  All but one building there is post-World War II.  Basically,  the Germans had to rebuild everything from the rubble that remained after the War.  The only building left standing was one commissioned by Hitler himself. Can't describe the feeling of standing there in front of the building commissioned by history's most hated man.
People in Munich had
major staring problems.   Whole restuarant-full people would stop their drinking and conversation and stare at my 2 companions and me.  This happened everywhere we went.  [I would guess they weren't accustomed to seeing non-white people].  It was both extremely uncomfortable and eerie, like we were a group of aliens with extra limbs coming out of our noses or something....anyhoo, that was my impression of Munich Germany.
