My parents sacrificed a lot for bringing up the family of14 childreninculcating sterling family values and imparting excellent education.They devoted their life for all of us.It was their habit of attending the Holy Mass everyday that strengthened our family and kept it from disintegration all these years. My father(Late.M.E.Joseph(1910-1980),Karikkattukunnel) was a man of few words but of great deeds.He excelled in every feild, he ventured and left an indelible mark wherever he worked.He was gold medalist from Madras Presidency College,S.B.College Changanacherry - was an outstanding teacher, an able administrator and retired as Deputy Director of Public Instruction,Kerala,India in 1966,after which he was Registrar of Regional Engineering College Calicut. My mother (Mary Joseph,Tharayil ,Pulikunnoo) was the architect of our character and helmswoman of the family, leads a prayerful life at home(LOVEDALE)Trivandrum,Kerala,India where our parents settled .
