Ergonomic Keyboarding Workshops

Ergonomic Keyboarding workshops are divided into three parts:
  1. The Seminar educates employees about healthy and unhealthy keyboarding and mouse use and motivates them to review their working habits. This approach combines knowledge of anatomy and the laws of motion (see Seminar Topics).
  2. The Evaluation determines which employees have tensions, pains or injuries. Employees with these problems will then be scheduled for private lessons.
  3. Private lessons include individual diagnosis and hands-on instruction at each employee work station.

Before taking the Ergonomic Keyboarding Seminar, I experienced pain on the sides of my hands, in my fingers and wrists. Within ten minutes of working with me on an individual basis, Ms. Cheroff was able to determine which movements were damaging to my hands and wrists, and suggested simpler, alternative movements. My hands no longer feel strained or cramped when I type.
