why did i create dicentra in bloom?

"this is my letter to the world that never wrote to me - the simple news that nature told  - with tender majesty.  her message is committed to hands i cannot see - for love of her - sweet countrymen - judge tenderly of me." --Emily Dickinson.

dicentra in bloom is my third home page.  the first, dicentra's gallery, was created out of a desire to showcase my work and that of my friends.  i loved creating it, and i still work on it, updating it regularly.  however, since my family and friends from work (who i am not "out" with regarding my choice to live a D/s lifestyle) visit there regularly, i was very limited in what i could post.  there have already been a few questions from people curious about my poems "fire" and "freedom", which are posted there.

some of the things i write about D/s i consider to be my finest work, and yet i had no way to show them to my friends, no way to share them.  it broke my heart to hide them away in a drawer, and yet... what could i do?

the solution seemed simple enough; create a new home for them.  it has taken a lot of work to build an entirely new page, but the time couldn't have been better spent.  this page is still under construction, so there may be glitches here and there, broken links and graphics, things that i am working to fix as quickly as possible.  i hope Y/you all will be patient with me as this page gets under way.

in time i hope to add a prose section, to house stories i have written with a D/s theme, as well as a section including postings written by some of my friends.  if Y/you would like to contribute anything to this site,  be it a poem, a story, a link for the links page, or just a comment on something Y/you would like to see, please feel free to email me.

although i have been in the D/s lifestyle for many years now (about 9, total), i am just now realizing my potential as a slave, and coming into bloom.  this page will be exploring that, and i hope Y/you enjoy taking this journey with me.  be well til next we meet... di.
