Information on the situation for homosexuals in Greece:
 
Legal
 
Greece, now the most stable country of the Balkan but a dictatorship only a few decades ago, has repealed most of its laws restricting homosexual activities. Still, male homosexual prostitution is banned by the Criminal Law while there is no such ban on heterosexual prostitution. 

Greece is very popular among tourists from Northern Europe for its warm Mediterranean climate. Especially popular among gays is the island of Mykonos, known as very liberal and the only place in Greece with nude beaches.
