Rupert is the newest member of , bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience in the music industry to the floor. He is currently a member of the world renown band, Third World. and co-wrote the hit song “Forbidden Love”.

Rupert was born in Ottawa, Canada into a musical family and lived most his life in Jamaica. He started playing guitar at age six and has been performing on stage and in studio ever since. This young producer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist has produced and recorded music alongside “The Riddim Twins”, Sly and Robbie for East-West Records (France).

His production credits go on to include the likes of Jimmy Cliff, Burning Spear, Toots and the Maytals and for Third World’s ‘Serious Business’ and ‘Live It Up’ albums. Rupert has also performed with these and countless other artistes worldwide, such as Shabba Ranks, Dennis Brown, Maxi Priest, Marcia Griffiths, The Mighty Diamonds, Judy Mowatt, and Freddie McGregor to name a few. Not to mention the touring he did with Third World playing lead and rhythm guitar, keyboards and singing backing vocals between February 1989 and November 1990.

After having performed, toured, engineered, produced and written for the top names in music, Rupert designed and built with his own two hands, the Gypsy Music Recording Studio - a fully equipped MIDI and ADAT digital production facility. He is currently developing a number of new artistes (including ) for his production and publishing company - Gypsy Music Inc. - and pursuing a production deal while touring and recording with Third World. 

Since joining the band, Rupert has taken the band under his production company and has us in the studio working on our new songs and getting them showcased.
