Terrorism Information Awareness
Program

Public awareness of this program, originally called The Total Information Awareness Program, has led to much controversy and because of this Congress has recently ended the program. The controversy surrounding this program involves the conflicting values of personal privacy and the governments need to provide security.  A thorough examination of these and other issues reveals the need for a policy to guide the decision makers in the implementation of such a program.
