Helen

Helen will probably want to kill me for including this photograph. However, she's a very special friend, and this photo captures her effervescent personality and lust for life far more effectively than any serious study ever could! Helen's one of those people who always has about six million projects on the go at once, and somehow, she manages to get them done - as well as being involved with the TV community on a local and national level, she's also organising a TV millennium gathering as well as being involved in running a science fiction convention (these fans get everywhere!), holding down a full time job and, together with her wife, raising her young son!

This, on the other hand, is one of Helen's favourite photos of one of her favourite outfits. Helen, Science Fiction Fan, modelling her Star Trek cocktail 'Dress Uniform'. It's been said on more than one occasion that Helen bears a passing resemblance to Linda Lusardi, and I think this is one of those pictures in which you can see it. Like me, Helen is talented with the needle and thread; she designed and made the outfit, which has a number of dresses in different lengths and styles to go with the jacket. She's made more than one dress, others are elsewhere on the site....
