Diary, another installment.
May 22, 1998
Well, today is another day off. I thought I would take sometime and enter
some more in this diary. Things have been going really well as of late.
My job is really going well, learning more and more all the time. I am
really getting the little indiosynchrozies of the machine down. I am
scheduled to go to the factory school in August in Miami, that should
be an experience. I am looking forward to it.
The reserves are taking up time in my life too. We are getting ready
for our summer camp, going to Ft Gordon this year. Should be fun, once
all the plkanning packing and actually getting there is done. The
best thing I bellieve is when it is all over and you start the look
back at it phase. I know that was the way it was when I was active
army. I don't remember having as much fun then as I do know when I look
back at it. But then I think most things in life are that way, after
time passed you only seem to remember the good times. The bad ones
seem to be tempered with time and slip into the back of the old file
cabinet in the brain.
Still looking and taking applications for Mr Right. He's out there
somewhere... just have to find hime. Thinking of Allie McBeal, maybe
the guy with the oar paddle needs to wap me upside the head. I feel I
have missed some because of my insecurity. I will keep on trying though.
The dogs are all doing well, I need to go get their flea pills this
afternoon, that shoots another $40. but hey they work what can I say.
Diamond is I believe going into heat again.... I need to get her to the
vet and get her fixed, but that is more $$$.
Brutus is well, as is Cleo.
Well I guess the big news is, I have had another birthday and now am 43,
yes. The house is going well, the garden is growing, (should have
some corn in a couple of months. Also planted peas and peppers. I have
done some dealing and now have a truck an 80 model Toyota, needs a little
work but it is better than my last vehicle. I am still sober after
19 months,,, God life IS better now. Still have problems but dealing
with them seems to be a lot easier than of old, in my stupor days.
I am planning a cruise to Bermuda this October so if anyone has info
or suggestions please let me know. Mail me. Well that is it for now,
thanks for taking the time to read this garb... it helps to sit down
and express some of my thoughts and think that things are not as bad as
they sometime seem. So till next entry everyone have a Blessed day, and
remember a smile is much nice to a stranger than a frown. Make his day too.
July 5th, 1998,
Well here I am again, Sunday night getting ready for work and this week
I am also heading out for summer camp, for the reseves. So I will
be away from the computer for a couple of weeks. If you should decide
to sign my guest book or drop me an e-mail it may be a while before
I get back to you, but I do try and answer all my mail. Things have
been going pretty good at work. Learning more and really getting into
the swing of things. After summer camp I will be heading to Miami
for a week in August, that should be fun and I hope to meet some friend
from online down there and maybe have some fun too.
The dogs are all doing well.
The home life is kind of sucky as my roommates are still being slow
pay on the rent. Not sure how I am going to persuade them other than
throwing them out. If it comes to that, oh well, I guess I will have to
be the bad guy once again. I only know that I can't carry the load
for everyone.
I have met some good friends on line and am having some pretty good
correspondence, and feel like I am getting to know them pretty well,
some I would really like to meet in person. Oh well I will have to wait
and see. Someone out there is Mr.Right!!!
Till the next installment everyone have a good Day and Be Safe.
July 30, 1998
Well I made it back from cummer camp alive and in one piece. Can't say a lot of that about
the house and roomates. One of them ran off with my mustang wrecked it up, now the tow company is wanting to charge me, THE VICTIM, who knows how much to get it out. All the windows have been bashed, and who knows what else.
Summer camp was an adventure... HOT, 100 degree days and here we
are out
in the middle of a field with no shade putting up a hospital, it really
is kind of neat to see it go up and then realize that it is a fully
functional hospital. I have a lot of pics for those of you interested.
I don't have all of them up yet, so if you only see a couple of pages,
check back soon. I am going to try and arrange them so that they will load
quickly and you don't have to wait all day. I know it can be a pain
sometime. Believe me I know. I seem to spend all my free time here, I am
also rearranging the rest of the homestead here to make the whole thing a
little friendlier. Anyway let me sign off for now I will give a more
detailed entry this weekend.
You all be good now, and safe.
