The Atlantic TransGender Gathering took place June 26, 1999. These pictures say it all...we had a GREAT time!
I went to a party at Robin's,
And all of the ladies were there.
As usual the burning question,
"What's a lady to wear?"

I went across on the ferry,
It was late when the ship got in.
Cammie and Irene were waiting,
And Vanessa, wearing a grin.

We all had a lovely visit,
And I did all the touristy things,
Then we all headed for Robin's,
As though our vehicles had wings.

The ladies, they came from all over,
All en-femme and none of them drab.
And we all settled down at Robin's,
And settled in for a gab.

The food and the wine it was flowing,
And we all sat around on the lawn,
And it seemed to me that in no time,
The food and the wine had all gone.
A bass clarinette was produced then,
By Mary, who plays very well,
And Janey got ready to play too,
She's known as the vibist from hell.

It was always a burning ambition,
Of Janey's, to play out en femme,
And when she arrived at Robin's,
She said, "I don't give a damn."

So, taking her trusty mallets,
And swallowing all of her fears,
She started to play on the vibes-and,
Bored everybody to tears.
But kidding and joking aside here,
I wish to put forward my case,
We all had a wonderful time, there,
At Robin and Monica's place.

Janey Lang.
