Ah ha!

Today, I figured out what this year's big April Fool's Day prank must be. I think it's the whole idea of getting rid of the Drum Hill Rotary. I don't care if they've taken down most of the trees so that you can see all the way across (which is too bizarre for contemplation!) I think it's all a big joke being pulled by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. I love that rotary. It put the fear of God into me when I was learning to drive, but now I can hold my head up high every time I merge on like a pro, like I belong to this family of drivers.

Every day, we risk life and limb to drive on just a piece of that road and I can't believe that it will soon cease to exist. It's gotta be a joke.

And how's this for a surreal day? I had a cute little bunny trying to hump my arm at the Agway store today. Yup, good to know I'm still attractive. :-)

Ooh! Look at the road that goes on and on...
