Addendum to "Exodus"
( Sorry for the street talk in this writing, and all my writings, but unfortunately, street language sometimes is the only language. Some words cannot be replaced by academic language and retain the same meaning, just as some words in a particular language cannot be translated.--Editor)
The idea of attacking the Christian Church is extremely difficult. First of all, it is so tremendously gargantuan. Almost worldwide, and certainly nationwide and enjoys a membership of millions and millions. How are you going to contact all of these lost souls.
Second, almost all of these innocents think they are doing the "right thing." In their minds, to attack the Church is to attack God. And nobody has the balls to do this. Scientists, scholars, philosophers, etc., can do it because they know there is nothing to attack. There is no god as described by organized religion. So, if one attacks religion, he is doubly hated because he is attacking god, and he must be homosexual. Two really, really good hate objects. I hate you doubly because not only are you homosexual, you are also an atheist. You deserve to be crucified.
And their ears immediately become deaf. They immediately "tune out." They do not want to hear one word you are saying, because they know it is "the Devil speaking!"
Tell someone you are an atheist and the person hears, not what you say, but this: "I know you have a god, but I reject your god, refuse to believe in him, and refuse to worship him." The dilettante thinker cannot conceive of a world in which there is no god. The first question they ask is, "Well, where do you think all this came from? (Pointing to the universe.)"
It is impossible for them to understand this concept: If everything has to have been created, then who created God?
God is eternal. He is, was, and always will be.
If this is true, then why cannot the same argument be applied to the universe? It is, was, and always will be. The Universe has always been here, and always will be.
This floors them. They have no answer. Then they fall back on the "faith" bull-crap.
Well, you just have to have faith. You cannot live without faith.
I live very well without faith, thank you.
But you have to have faith. Everyone has faith.
Excuse me, but I have no faith. Never have had and never will have. I have no problems.
You have to believe in something.
That is not true. I have no beliefs and I get along all right. Having beliefs is a sign of ignorance. Can you define the word belief?
Well, no.
You base your entire life on beliefs, yet you cannot even give the dictionary definition of the word.
Well, you will never convince me. I don't want to talk about it any more.

Unfortunately, many of these believers are homosexuals. Trying to get them to give up their religion is equally as difficult as is getting the bible-thumpers to give up their religion. Yet, the process of giving up their religion is the only way they can continue in their homosexual lifestyle without self torture. If they do not wish to be totally overwhelmed with guilt, then they have one of two choices: Either,
1.) Give up sex, or,
2.) Give up religion.
You cannot have both.
I have found that giving up religion is much easier than giving up sex.
The human organism is a sex machine. It has no other function than to have sex. The only function of the human organism is to have sex. It is not to procreate. The human body doesn't give a damn about procreating. It cares only about ejaculating. It has no other task. Whoever, or whatever, designed the human body was not thinking about populating the earth. It created the body as a sex-desiring mechanism that want to get rid of a load. The population factor is the furthest thing from it's mind. If it had, or has, a mind. Which it doesn't.
So, ultimately, all people, except perhaps the dumbest of the dumb, soon come to realize: there is a dichotomy here that I cannot fathom. My body demands that I have sex, and my stupid priest tells me it is wrong, sinful, abomination and that I am going to hell. As strongly as my body demands that I satisfy my urge to seek sexual relief, I have no choice. I will give in to my body's cravings. I have no choice. The priest is full of shit.
God would not create a creature that wants sex as strongly as I do, and then make it forbidden. Something is wrong here, and I am sure it is not God. It must be that ass-hole of a priest.
(And it is about at this point, the subject finds out the priest is having more sex with the beautiful altar boys than is imaginable. Later, he finds out the prisons are full of priests, clergy, ministers who have had sex with the members of their diocese. Or congregation. [In all honesty, I have never heard of a rabbi going to prison for having illegal sex. But this does not mean it has never happened. It just means they know how to keep it out of the newspapers. And that I never heard of it.])
So, my task is not only to fight the Church, it is also to fight the very victims of that Church - the homosexuals because most of them go to church religiously, and believe all the crap that is denigrating them, crucifying them, and making them outcasts. They too believe in god, Jesus Christ, and all the other garbage puked up by the various churches - organized religion. It is much like a person being tortured, and in retaliation, worships the one who is torturing him. It happens. It happens in the Church.
Get real people. If you want to live a guilt-free and comfortable life, you mus t give up religion.
But I can't. I must have something to believe in.
Okay. Go ahead and believe in the ones that would string you up by the balls and leave you to die. It's your choice.
Perhaps this is too strong.
I am not a mean-spirited person. I will not create a paradox for you, then show you no way out.
There is a alternative to religion. It is called science.
You can live your life with a religious orientation, or you can live your life with a scientific orientation.
One will get you into trouble, the religious one. Unless you wish to become a ascetic - someone who has no sex life at all, you must give up religion. But actually, there is no one who has no sex life. No matter how much you pray, how monk-like you live, you will always have a sex life.
It will always be in your mind, at least, until you reach the ripe old age of ninety-eight or so. You may kid yourself and say I am not going to think about sex. But you will think about sex. Your body is so constructed that it will force you to think about sex. There is no way out. Not even dope nor alcohol will quench the fire. (Some experts believe with good reason that all alcoholics are repressed homosexuals.
They drink to avoid admitting they are queer. That's the reason almost all kids of alcoholics are potential molest victims. "My daddy did it to me but he was drunk when he did it." Yeah, right.
That makes it okay?
So, you will not give up sex. It cannot be done.
Cut out your testes, and you will still think about sex.
So, if you want a sane life, you must give up religion.
And the way you live a scientifically oriented life is to give up believing. You can give up all beliefs. Some experts go so far as to say that 98% of all beliefs are false anyway, so why carry around all this
baggage?
What replaces the beliefs?
Knowledge.
If you don't know it, ignore it.
If it is not knowledge, it is not worth considering.
That is the secret of a sane and successful existence.
But I have to have a God.
Honestly, you don't. If you don't have a god to love you, you likewise don't have a god to condemn you.
As for getting along without god's love, you have been doing that all your life already. I hate to tell you this, but you have never had a god up there in Heaven to love you.
This is all in your mind. You have imagined it. Face it. You have not have had god's love, so you can live without love. You have been doing it all your life.
