This case is so important it deserves to be followed fairly closely. First, the magnitude of the crime four children murdered, and one school teacher. This is no small matter. Second, the fact that it was committed by children, and the children, at least one child, smacks of molestation, and, third, the boys were ready and capable of murder; which means they were also suicidal. Any one who is ready to kill himself is also ready to kill someone else. This is the nature of suicide/murder.
The thirteen-year-old, it appears, has a record of molesting a two-year-old girl somewhere back in his past. This bit of information is useful for two actions: 1) it will help the courts crucify him (not that there is any doubt of his guilt) and, 2) it will help the red necks of Arkansas, and throughout the nation, build their hatred for this boy to an explosive peak. The boy has already received death threats and there is little doubt he will be strung up if any mob can get to him. Lets explore both insinuations: the boy molested a two-year-old and he himself was molested. Neither makes any difference.
If the boy did, indeed, molest a two-year-old, he was either looking for sexual satisfaction himself, looking to harm (spelled pollute) or merely indulging in childish curiosity. Sex takes two forms in our culture: 1) its a physical desire within ones body; and, 2) a desire to pollute another person with ones own ejaculate. In other words, some people (most) view sex as something wicked, abominable, dirty and injurious; and evil (the biblical view), some view sex as something excellent, appropriate, beautiful and good, (the intellectual view which explains why so few hold this view.)
It is doubtful the boy held either of these views since he was so young. He had to be exploring out of curiosity. Totally innocent. Was he molested, and did it matter? If he was molested, which we doubt because it appears the youngster is fishing around for a defense for his crime, it is doubtful a six/seven-year-old could build up this much hatred over a simple sex act. If the sex act involved pain, there is a possibility he could build up an enormous amount of hatred and hostility. But this is doubtful because this much pain and hurt would have created more of an uproar than it did. So we come to the conclusion that the boy did not try to rape nor even molest the two-year-old and if he was molested, this is not the reason he murdered. So why did he murder? The boy was suicidal and this was his way out. The dirt being dug up by the media is irrelevant.
