my

Bluehooks Diary

I started doing this diary in June. If you haven't been following have a look at the Cast of Characters which gives a quick low down on the essential day to day characters who are mentioned here...it will make more sense if you do.

Once I had unloaded all my goodies from the car and put Lisa's back in I went off into town and did the usual Saturday stuff and met the same people I usually meet on a Saturday, on the High Street, in the Pioneer Supermarket. Then I went on to Lisa's and unloaded all her stuff and stayed a while and was entertained by Jake in the way that only 5 year olds can entertain.

Back home I got the fire started and read the Saturday Guardian for a while. When it was fully roaring I unpacked all the indoor stuff and distributed blankets and crockery and the bag of tea towels and then went out to play with my new toys. First I checked out the circular saw and cut up some logs and established that it was working fine as is everything else. The drinking trough I bought for the horses has been used for mixing cement or plaster, that wasn't obvious in the rain and half light yesterday so I had to find a way to get that clean. I think the answer is to hit it with a hammer a lot and the cement cracks and falls off. I did try doing it and if you hit it hard enough it does crack but Tom the cat was just having his dinner right beside where I had put the trough and he didn't like all the banging so I had to leave that one for a while.

I was wanting to make some headway on the WIT website today so I played with that for a while before it was time to go and make dinner. After dinner I came back to the computer and that was about five hours ago and I'm sick of html files now and I can't write any more.
