Bluehook's Diary

I started doing this diary in June. If you haven't been following have a look at the Cast of Characters which gives a quick low down on the essential day to day characters who are mentioned here...it will make more sense if you do.

We actually did it, we finished the painting. This was a big relief to me and one less thing to be fretting about. I got in there and did all the gloss work as soon as I'd got going this morning and Lorna and Irene did another coat on the ceiling and the beams. Now there's just a little bit of tidying and pulling off of masking tape and suchlike jobs and then we will be full of party guests. We're not really organising the party, just providing the space. Clare is oranising the party because she's the one that wanted it and when I spoke to her last night he said that she had all sorts of "party games" planned. I have no idea what that might turn out to mean.

I managed to get that done in time to get out of there and onto the computer and get up to date with all the appendices for the latest WIT application form and speak to Heather on the phone, twice. And I even had time to tidy up 3 out of four rooms in my own end of the house. The fourth is my bedroom and doesn't really need to be tidied. Well, it does need to be tidied, it just doesn't need to be done before we have the party.
