I started doing this diary in June, it's quite new. If you haven't been following have a look at the Cast of Characters which gives a quick low down on the essential day to day characters who are mentioned here...it will make more sense if you do.

Woke up remarkably early (for me) today and went into town to do all sorts of minor things which needed doing. Bought a load of vegetables from the organic farm shop (so-called) since there is going to be a crowd of women arriving here tommorrow night for a post dance feed a sweat so there will have to be a huge soup pot made. Also picked up a couple of packets of photographs which Lorna had put in. Had a flying lunch on the way home in the car. When I got hone I opened the photos and there was eneough material there for several new pages so I quickly set about sticking things in the scanner. I've added a page of pictures showing the day we moved house and another about our House Warming Party. There's a couple of new ones on the Animals page and a whole new Cast of Characters page. oh, and, not from the photos, but there's also a whole page of Film Stills.

While I was doing that Heather, the horse lady came round. I had phoned her up on the recommendation of the farrier who comes to shoe Nelly and had tried to trim Princess's feet last time he was here. She was coming to meet the horses and see what advice she could give me about my sweet but silly horse. She diagnosed a case of the 'Terrible Twos' and told me various things I could do to try and get her a little more calm and less silly. She also said Princess seems physically immature for her age and it was way too soon to start any serious work with her. I was actually quite pleased to hear that, I don't really want to push her too fast. Anyway she's going to come back, hopefully next week sometime, and get us all a bit more up to scratch with the lunging.

I spent the rest of the afternoon finishing off the scanning, writing the new pages and also sorting out this diary. You may notice it has now got a proper Index page. It is also one page at a time, so it won't take longer and longer to load as the month goes on. I've also started to go through all the vieo and stills I grabbed recently and try to chuck some of it away because I've got 1.5gb of the stuff. That may take some time, I was interupted by dinner and haven't got back there yet. Clare had arrived shortly before dinner and Looey was also around so after we ate I went with them, and Lorna and spent a bit of time doing a brief run through of the five rhythms as we may have to play live music tomorrow and none of us have done the rhythms for months. I think we'll be fine if we have to do it, it's all in there. Long day tommorow, the plan is to dance all day and then come back here and build a sweat then do some other stuff I can't remember on Sunday...I may not have time to post tomorrow.
