I started doing this diary in June. If you haven't been following have a look at the Cast of Characters which gives a quick low down on the essential day to day characters who are mentioned here...it will make more sense if you do.

     

I slept later than I meant to today so I felt a bit rushed in the morning but still managed to get the horses fed and myself fed and fix the toilet again and took some laundry into town and was back by midday. Then I went up the field with Lorna for a few hours and we carried on where we left off with the fencing, again spending most of the time pulling the wires and staples out of the trees. It had looked lovely outdoors, so much so that I'd not lit the fire but up at the top of the field there was a cold north wind blowing and by the time we quit in the middle of the afternoon it was starting to rain as well and my hand was turning purple.

I went in and lit the fire then and had a plateful of salad and somehow managed to fall asleep on the floor. I didn't wake up till about 5.30pm when I heard Lorna coming back from town. I though it was a bit odd that I felt so tired already but then realised I was started to bleed and understood the feeling. I did rouse myself up though and make some phone calls and got caught up with several computer jobs before dinner. Then I ate too much dinner and never really woke up since so I'm just going to go to bed now.
