Bluehook's Diary

I started doing this diary in June. If you haven't been following have a look at the Cast of Characters which gives a quick low down on the essential day to day characters who are mentioned here...it will make more sense if you do.

I've been stomping about all day thinking about survival in a Y2K worst case scenario... you know, no electricty, phones, running water, transportation, that sort of thing. Yes I've been doing the other stuff in between, going to town, cooking dinner but mainly I'm thinking.

I'm stomping round the garden, looking at what needs protecting, looking at what can be grown where, being glad at having so much space. In the event of a breakdown of some or all utilities, given the right preparations, we could survive quite well here. But we are in a minority.
