Recommended Reading

 

I'm a book worm, always have been and always will be. My tastes are wide and varied from autobiographical to those esoteric in nature to science-fiction. My reading list is ever-growing and I keep up as best I can. Here are some reading suggestions that I have read, been wanting to read, or that I want for my library.

Ray Buckland Book of Witchcraft: A good primary with a lot of different information.

Scott Cunningham Wicca : A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner: A good beginner's guide.

Scott Cunningham Encyclopedia of Magical Herbs and The Complete Book of Incense, Oils & Brews

Raven Grimassi Wiccan Mysteries: Ancient Origins & Teachings: A good and interesting read.

Robert Wolff Original Wisdom: An Ancient Way of Knowing: Return to a simpler time and remember what has been forgotten. Highly recommended.

Fiction

Wilkie Collins The Woman in White: A Victorian mystery and suspense thriller.

Victor Hugo The Hunchback of Notre Dame: An everlasting classic! There are a lot of twists and turns that usually didn't make it onto film.

Victor Hugo Les Misérables: An amazing read! Top drama: truths, love triangles, revolution, etc.

Susan Kay Phantom: The story of the Phantom of the Opera retold from the points of view of Erik, Christine, and the Persian. A book I could read over and over. Definitely a must for any Phan!

Gaston Leroux the Phantom of the Opera: The original story about a musical genius who falls so much in love with a young opera singer he would do anything for her...

James Redfield the Celestine Prophecy: Gave me lots of insight on myself and the world around me.

James Redfield the Tenth Insight: Sequel to the Celestine Prophecy.

James Redfield The Celestine Prophecy: An Experiential Guide: A review of the story while guiding one through their own awakening.

Non-Fiction

Mary Pipher Reviving Ophelia: Talks of adolescent females and how they relate to the world. Can help female teens and their families through those rough teen years.
