Did you know that we have a volcanoe here in my world?
It's called Mt. Lassen.

This is the view looking southwest. It errupted backk in 1914, beginning a 7-year cycle of sporatic outbursts. Mt lassen is 10,500 ft. high. And my partner and I are among those who have hiked to it's top. There is camping nearby in the park. Lassen Vocanic Park. Below is a picture of lake Helen . Looks cold doesn't it?

An Old Ent! Isn't this old tree beautiful!
I found this in Lassen Volcanic National Park, N. CA.
There's something to be said for old trees. They've weathered many a storm.
Too bad so many of them are cut down and lost to us.

No. This isn't in Africa. It's a place called Burney Falls. It's
located about 70 mi east of Redding, California in the USA.

The above picture was taken on the 4th near us.  It is called Bluff Springs.
Always cool in the summer.  The springs come right out of the ground and cascade
down to form a majestic falls.  beautiful isn't it?
