In October 1999, David and I went to Rome for ten days.  He went to attend the annual meeting of the Cochrane Colloquium, a medical research collaboration.  I went to eat, drink and be merry.  I also went to experience the history and culture - something I have been fascinated by since taking Latin in high school.  I actually came back with nearly 100 photos.  I have attempted to be selective, but there are so many nice ones, I have prepared several pages.  The Journey is about getting there and back, the Rome and Me section shows pictures of David and I in Rome, and the Scenery sections show some nice pictures I took while I was there.  Now, aren't you lucky!  You get to skip the boring scenery part if you want to...  unlike those poor souls who had to suffer through vacation slide shows in bad old days of the projector.  :P
