Some of these are personal photos, but many are artistic in nature. I own copyright on all but one of them, so please do not use them without my permission.
Self Portrait This is what you came here for in the first place, isn't it? This is me in the bathroom mirror - taken early March, 1998. Not a great photo, but aside from the glare, not too bad, either.
Rhubarb This is a self-portrait of me hiding behind the rhubarb plants I nurtured through the '97 growing season. Oh, the wonderful things you can do with cow shit.
George and Rosa These are my dogs in February '96. George is the golden retriever mix and Rosa is the basset hound mix. With those faces, is it any wonder I love them so?
Pepe Pepe is my second child. He's also one of the coolest cats I know (though entirely lacking in grace).
Three Little Kittens Here's one of all my kitties assembled (except for Dolores, the newest addition). They are, from left to right (also youngest to oldest): Señorita Oscar (aka Bitch), Pepe, and Poquillo.
Me 'n' Kimmer This is a photo of me with my friend and classmate Kim taken during my last visit back to Minnesota in May '96. It's surprising how little I've changed.
Jardins Botaniques The closest way back to Maine from the Twin Cities is across Canada, so I used that as an excuse to visit Montréal. The Jardins Botaniques were incredible, even though things were just starting to bloom.
Tulips This is also from the Jardins Botaniques. The title's self-explanatory.
St. Francis This photo is one of the very few good things I got from my last boyfriend. The statue was his but unfortunately was destroyed by an iconoclast (not me) who shall remain nameless.
En Route to Mecca This photo is a self-portrait taken at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah in July, 1994. I had just graduated from vet school, and the AVMA Convention that year was in San Francisco. I decided to make it a proper pilgrimage and drove from the Twin Cities.
Yosemite Mel On the same trip I stopped in Yosemite National Park - reserved the last available camping space. This pic would make Ansel Adams cringe, but it proves I was there. Bridal Veil Falls is directly above my head.
Mecca! This shot was taken from the Northern end of the Golden Gate bridge, in Marin County. The fog was intense and gave it a very moody feel.
BWCA This is a photo I took in September, 1991, on a trip with classmates to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area in northern Minnesota. On the last day, we had to canoe 20 miles out through snow, sleet, and miserably cold rain. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
Lobster Buoys These were sitting in my grandparents' neighbor's yard one day, and I liked the contrast and bright colors.
Bubba's Family Portrait This is a portrait of my brother Geoff and his family taken November, 1997. They are Geoff holding my nephew Cole and his wife Kathy holding my niece Kaylyn. I discovered that matte photos don't scan very well.
