I. OFFICER RESUMES AND DUTIES:
    1. All post members, off of probation, will be eligible to submit promotional
        resumes, for the ranks of Lieutenant. Only Lieutenants may submit a
        resume for the position of Battalion Chief. Each member eligible will also
        be assessed upon overall performance, attendance, as well as the detailed
        resume. Each new officer is on probation for a period of six months.
        During this probationary period the Head Advisor reserves the right to
        terminate the Explorers rank without cause. All positions of rank will be
        filled as required. All resumes will be reviewed without identity.

II. GENERAL OFFICER DUTIES:
    1. They shall be responsible for the conduct and efficiency of the members of
        their command and supervision.
    2. They shall apportion duties among the members and equalize the assignment
        as fairly as possible.
    3. They shall analyze situations correctly, quickly, and adopt an effective
        course of action.
    4. They shall plan, assign, and supervise the work of their subordinates.
    5. They shall see that all visitors to meetings and events are treated
        respectfully.
    6. They shall maintain discipline and morale.  They may exclude/dismiss,
        if necessary, a person who is disorderly.
    7. They shall perform the related work required at (Meetings, Functions,
        Events, Etc.).
    8. They shall be in charge of training members and to make sure that all
        members are on the same level.
    9. They shall be in charge of the Physical Training and Health Improvement of
        all members.
    10. They shall keep a record of all supplies of Post 713 and make a list of
        needed supplies.
    11. They shall be responsible for the daily log book and to make sure all
        important information is recorded.
    12. They shall be accountable for the calendar of events and training.  They
        shall get all supplies, paperwork, and information ready for that day.
    13. They shall be responsible for all dues or money collected.
    14. They shall help any member with any problem.  This may include school,
        homework, drills, training, home life, etc.
    15. All officers must be in attendance at all functions, unless there is a
        valid excuse.

III. OFFICERS' DUTIES SHALL BE AS FOLLOWS:
        Jr. Associate Advisor(s) SHALL:
                1.  Aid the Head Advisor(s) in Post Administrative and Operational
                     procedures.
                2.  Aid the Head Advisor(s) in Level 1 Training.
                3.  Be in charge of all new memberships and recruiting.
                4.  Maintain accurate record keeping.
                5.  Organize Post projects, events, and fund raisers.
                6.  Keep the Head Advisor(s) constantly updated on the Post status.
                7.  Carry out any other assignment given by the Head Advisor(s).
         Battalion Chief(s) SHALL:
                1. Keep the Jr . Associate Advisor(s) constantly updated on the
                    status of his / her Lieutenant(s) and Squad(s) training and academic
                    progress (both regular school / post classes).
                2. Turn into the Jr. Associate Advisor(s) (AFTER REVIEWING)
                    collected annual recharter fees and dues,  report cards
                    failing meet the 2.0 minimum grade point average, receipts,
                    grievances, absence forms when the B/C feels the
                    individual Explorers absence is becoming a problem, demerits
                    when the Explorer has accumulated enough to have action taken
                    against him/her.
                3. Carry out any other assignment given by the Head Advisor(s) or
                    Jr. Associate Advisor(s).
         Lieutenant(s) SHALL:
                1. Keep the Battalion Chief(s) constantly updated on there squad(s)
                    status.
                2. Collect (from there individual squads) report cards, annual
                    recharter fees, dues, grievances, and receipts.
                3. Maintain an accurate account of demerits / personal  absence forms
                    and turn them into the B/C as required.
                4. Maintain high levels of moral and discipline in there individual
                    squads (at meetings and in public).
                5. Carry out any assignment given by the Head Advisor(s), Jr.
                    Associate Advisor(s), and Battalion Chief(s).
