This race is our pride and joy. It is our chance to extend our hospitality and provide a challenge to paddlers of all levels. Our 10-mile (Ironman) long distance race starts at the base of the Golden Gate Bridge, winds around Angel Island and finishes in Horseshoe Cove. This exciting race features the challenging San Francisco Bay currents and weather, with a picturesque view of San Francisco in the background. The 4-Mile "Fun" race for Novice and Keiki (16+, must race Coed) starts in Horseshoe Cove, follows the water's edge to Sausalito and returns to Horseshoe Cove.

The Women's and Co-ed crews must launch and warm-up at 8:30 AM. Their race starts at 9:00 AM. The Men's race starts after the last Women's canoe crosses the finish line (about 10:30 am). The Novice "Fun" races starts immediately after the Men's race (about 12:00 Noon). The currents on this day will be entertaining; so spray covers are recommended. All Northern California Outrigger Canoe Association (N.C.O.C.A.) Long Distance Rules apply.
