My family is the most important thing in my life and my relationships with them all are deeply cherished. My family consists of my wife Sheri, my oldest son Daniel, my youngest son Derek, and our two Labradors Bonnie and Shasta. Here's a great description about what parenthood is like: Motherhood. |
Some important dates in our family's history:
Sheri and Bill's marriage: June 26th, 1993
Sheri's birthday: December 18, 1963
Bill's birthday: April 26, 1962
Daniel's birthday: May 5, 1995
Derek's birthday: January 29, 1998
This was in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for Thanksgiving, 1996. Daniel is 1.5 years old.
What we're currently up to:
Sheri is training for the Bolder Boulder 10K race on Memorial Day and then she'll be training for the mile throughout the summer. She is currently working at Storage Technology in Louisville and recently was promoted.
Daniel is in daycare and is taking swim classes and computer classes. He is also learning to read and write. He currently loves Batman, Godzilla, sharks, Star Wars, etc.
Derek is walking and running all over the place. He likes being bounced gently on the trampoline. He is saying his first words: daddy, quack-quack, milk, etc. He understands most everything we say to him and is almost always happy. His favorite foods are oatmeal and noodles.
Bill's training to climb El Capitan this summer. When he gets time he squeezes in a run to train for the Bolder Boulder or a bike ride. Bill works for a small software consulting company called SpiralSoft and is currently working on genetic sequencing software (a sub-area of a field called bioinformatics) at Genomica in Boulder.
