Annual Meeting Sept. 8-9, 2006
The Annual Meeting of the "Auslandsösterreicher Weltbund" took place in Klagenfurt, Carinthia from Sept. 7-10, 2006; working meetings were held Sept. 8-9; a number of social events were held, such as a reception by 'Landeshauptmann Haider', the Austrian-German actor Friedrich von Thun received the "Auslandsösterreicher of the Year" award, Dr. Ursula Plassnik addressed the 450 participants, and invited to lunch - see her special greetings to the Austrians living in the Washington Metropolitan area.

Sunday, December 03, 2006, from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m., at the Embassy of Austria An Afternoon with St.Nikolaus and Krampus was celebrated under the Patronage of the Ambassador of Austria, H.E. Dr. Eva Nowotny; This charity event was to benefit children in SOS Children’s Villages in Austria and the United States. Photos from the event!
