Kiler Kirkland

Kiler Kirkland, son of Timothy and Celia A. Lankford Kirkland, was born about 1854 in Coffee County. He married first, a cousin, Alice Kirkland, and they couple had 11 children. He married 2nd, Lula Tuten and 4 children were born to them. Kiler died March 16, 1918 and is buried in the family cemetery now known as the Kirkland Cemetery, His grave is marked with a slab and he is buried next to his son Eugene (June) Kirkland. The whereabouts of the grave of Lula Tuten Kirkland is unknown.
This picture is in the posession of the Walter Kirkland family, however several copies of the picture have been made thanks to the generosity of Walt and his family.
