Nothing like last minute plans and deciding to 'shoot through like a Bondi tram', is there ? A family trip to New Zealand or someplace would have been nice, so as those plans are now scrapped - I'll join my other 'family' in Ireland, for the Paddynet chatters get-together - The Burren Buddies Bash.

This will be nice - the chance to put faces to many of my long-term chat friends. I'll have the chance to meet Charlene's friend Owen, and Seaswan at last. BillD, Kirkdale, Lynn, and others travelling over from the States and Canada.

Charlene will soon have her exams, and as it would be nice to spend some time together again Ann has worked something out there, too. And if I'm going as far as Ireland, why not make it to Edinburgh this time ? That's not so far from my dear friends Teri and Renke, so put them down for a visit as well.

So the proposed itinery for this time next week reads: Melbourne - Singapore - Cork - Dublin - Edinburgh - Amsterdam - London - Bangkok - Melbourne - so Get Organised !

Taking my laptop and plan to upload my travel notes as I go. Once I post this trip with contact details in my address book, enough contacts will hopefully be notified in advance that I'll be arriving.

First stop - Singapore.
