Chapter 1 – And so they met...
DM - Chad
As recalled by the DM
Since the adventurers had quests before they met I shall only recap what happened the day they met in the town...
Lets begin with Thrall...
Thrall had been in the town of Poisson for a little while now. Between fighting Orges, journeying to the bottom of the sea, fighting monsters and raising ships...he was getting a bit tired. He did have a Druid helping through his adventures but she mysteriously disappeared, how odd. Thrall decided on the note of his disappearing companion he would post a ad on the bulletin board of Ahab's Inn. After visiting with his friend Ishmail at the Old Captain's Shop and posting the ad, he proceeded out of town to visit the Drunk Duck Inn south of Poisson.
Thrall enjoyed some refreshment with his Pirate friends at the Drunk Duck and managed to meet Elrod the Grey. Thrall learned that Elrod was heading towards Oakhurst for a long overdue visit. After some random chat and ale, Thrall proceeded back to Ahab's Inn in Poisson to see if anyone inquired about his ad.
Meanwhile...
Lia and Tari were just arriving in town after protecting a caravan from the village of Yew. At the gates of Poisson they encountered "The Fop" who recorded their names and information, because that's what the Fop does.
Lia and Tari bid their caravan friends goodbye and found themselves in Poisson outside Shemus' Tavern. Since they had received each a keg of ale as part of their payment from the mayor of Yew, they decided to enter the Shemus Tavern and try to sell their kegs. [Henceforth known as mistake number 1]
And so they entered the roughest, toughest bar in town, unknown to them. They proceeded to the bar and offered to sell their kegs to the barkeep. Needless to say, he was less than impressed. Shortly after their second try to sell their kegs they were prompted ejected by four thug patrons. Tumbling ass over kettle, they landed outside the tavern. Unfortuntly for Lia, Tari's keg cracked and sprung a leak. It was then when Tari, the elven Rogue, decided to "shotgun" her keg [another great moment in stupidity]. After impressing some salty sods Tari was lead down the boardwalk by Lia to Ahab's Inn. And after some chatting at the bar they met Thrall.
They exchanged stories over some ale and bread and decided to journey together as a group. Thus, the unknown adventurers was formed.
