A Wesleyan Confession

We confess our faith in God, the Father,
     who is holy and powerful, good and understanding;
And who reveals Himself to us
     through scripture and the life, death,
     and resurrection of Jesus Christ, His Son
Who comes to us in our sinfulness and
Forgives us in His Grace and
Gives us a new heart through faith;
So that, by the power of the Holy spirit,
     we may live in Scriptural holiness
And spread it throughout the land,
Holding one another accountable
As we contend for the faith, because
"The best of all is God is with us."
