My #3 best duty assignments in my military career!!!

After being in the high mojave desert for three years, I was reassigned overseas to the 69th Personnel Service Company (30 Sep 92 to 27 Jan 93), Karlsruhe, Germany (Smith Barracks). I served as the Personnel Service Company Sergeant Major. The 69th PSC then was inactivated and the unit went to Fort Sill, Oklahoma. When this happened, the unit was redesignated as the 187th PSC (28 Jan 93 to 15 Jun 94). On 16 Jun 94 the 187th PSC was redesignated as the 510th Personnel Service Battalion. Our unit in Karlsruhe was named Detachment A, Karlsruhe Composite Team, 510th Personnel Service Battalion. I served as the Senior Personnel Sergeant until my tour of duty ended on 31 Aug 95. The post was turned over to the Germans later that year after I had left.
