The Personnel Processing Branch (In/Out Processing)

After my tour in Germany, I was reassigned back to the states to Headquarters Headquarters Company, National Training Center Support Battalion, Fort Irwin, Barstow, California. I served as NCOIC, Personnel Processing Branch for a year and then as Chief, Personnel Processing Branch during the remainder of my tour (24 Jul 89 to 29 Sep 92). I was promoted to Master Sergeant on 1 Jun 90 with date of rank 1 May 90. This was the period of Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm.
