My basic combat training (BCT) started with Company B, 3d Battalion, 1st Brigade, USATC, Fort Ord, CA (24 Apr 72 to 25 Jun 72)(PV1 14 Apr 72) and my advanced individual training (AIT) ended with Company A, 1st Battalion, 4th Brigade, USATC, Fort Ord, Monterey, California (26 Jun 72 to 2 Oct 72)(PV2 11 Jul 72).
