pronounce it’s name.)
-> Unless you want everyone at South to recognize this picture, you have two
choices:
#1. Leave 1,000,000 extra credit points in small, unmarked bills in a plain
white envelope at a location of my choosing. (I am not going to write the
location down now in case you read this to your classes... Why would I tell
all your geography students where the secret location is? If I did, one of
them might get to the drop sight before I do and take my extra credit
points... and if I don’t get my extra credit points, or number 2, then you
don’t get your picture back.)
#2. Buy cookies for the geography class of my choosing. (Please don’t pick
this one if your only reason is to narrow down which of your classes, if any,
I am in. I will sell the cookies to the highest bidder, and then inform you
which class is to receive the cookies.)
Please don’t make any assumptions about which class of your’s, if any, I am
in. You know what they say about assumptions, don’t you? They make an A*S
out of u and mptions.
How to Contact me: You must make your decision by Tuesday, May 19th, 1998, at
3:30pm Central Standard Time. By then you must have either announced to all
your classes which option you have chosen (and then an informant will inform
someone who will inform me of your choice)... or you must have written in the
upper corner of your assignment board a “#1” or “#2” for choice 1 or choice 2
respectfully. (The size of your “#1” or “#2” must be at least 10cm by 10cm so
that it is big enough to read from the back of the classroom.)
Assuming that you comply with the demands (yes, I know that assuming makes an
A*S out of u and ming.... but I am the ransomer so I can assume all I want.)
then I will have another letter delivered with final instructions for the
trade. After I have received #1 or #2, you will get back your picture and no
copies will be sent out to anyone.
