A Small Note: The character before the Outcasting and after is markedly different and this is reflected in the logs. Well, not extremely different, but I think it's fairly noticeable. Number one, I was very new to the game up to the Outcasting and I was just getting to know Jaihyn as a Varati Atarvani, albeit, a very differently patterned one. I had no idea at the time how strict the theme was in the game. So, Jaihyn from his odd clan, was not a welcome change in the 'old-school' Varati society. After the Outcasting, I had the chance to basically remake Jaihyn in personality, which I did with great delight, getting to know him all over (again), minus a couple of very important things like the fire talent I had so carefully worked into his character. But here was a new and fresh Jai, ready to meet the new world of Haven and brave his tragic past. Plus, I knew the game MUCH MUCH better by this time! This too, reflects in the logs. So if Jaihyn seems a little... well, touched, in those logs before The Outcasting - June 12, 1999, now you know why. :) He's been through therapy now and is much better.... ;]
Fire and Steel - January 8, 1999 - Jaihyn, Kahlil - Wherein a Lion and a Priest discuss the points of fire and steele.
Sparring in the Park - January 9, 1999 - Jaihyn, Khalil, Nasri - Wherein a Lion, a Priest, and an Imphada meet in the Park, including a friendly sparring match between Lion and Priest.
Skirting the Edges... - date to come - Jaihyn, Khalil, Rory, Kiral, Vayu - Wherein a Lion and Priest have a real blow out of a sparring session and the Priest gains a new student.
Opinions Differ - February 8, 1999 - Jaihyn, Khalil - Wherein a Lion and Priest meet on the street and have a slight 'discussion' about the difference of opinions.
Cassius - March 8, 1999 - Jaihyn, Cassius, Elidi, Shahar, Vayu, Zafir, Maat, Alaia, Allegra - Wherein Jaihyn apparently breaks the wyvern's back as it were and gets himself into a heap o' trouble (see The OutCasting - June 12, 1999).
An Arrest - date to come - Jaihyn, Khalil, Khalid, Nasri - Wherein an innocent Priest is arrested for treason and blasphemy.
The Outcasting - June 12, 1999 - Jaihyn, Amineh, Shahar, Ranjeet, Zafir, Khalil, Niamh, Rabi, Deianyra, Valin'dovev - Ilanah, Moonfire, Daelia, Aztlan, Nestor, Kallista, Altair - Wherein Jaihyn is Branded Qismati-na, Outcaste from the Varati and Atarvani and begins a new life.
Lessons - December 30, 1999 - Jaihyn, Altair, Caius, Kelis - Wherein Jaihyn receives a lesson in staff and a lesson in breaking stereotypes.
