'Dogfight over Players Crescent'

Another childhood dream: I was woken on a sunny afternoon by the wining drone of old aircraft engines.The sounds seemed to dift far away then get real loud like some old planes were circling or doing aerobatics or something. On looking out the bedroom window the clear sky had a strange greeny tinge and there above the houses, old bi-planes were battling it out with the occasional rattle of gunfire.
