The Remote Explorer Virus
Remote Explorer--also known as RemExp, Rich, Remote_Explorer, IE403R.SYS,
and RICHS--is a virus that targets computers running on Windows NT networks. The
large (125KB) virus is written in the C++ programming language and creates a driver file
called IE403R.SYS. Remote Explorer runs its infection routines outside normal business
hours, on weekends and evenings. Most commercial antivirus software has been updated to
detect and remove this virus, so be sure to update your software. For further information
