July 29, 2006 Therion's Story: The_Devil_Dog was hard at work, unaware that I lay in wait just outside his building. I crouched ever lower in the bush, cocking my weapon and waiting for my prey. Then I was viciously attacked without mercy by a pack of rabid mongooses. |
July 29, 2006 The Zero's story: "Today was a very eventful day. First off, i knew i had a slim chance of taking out my target, after all he was a trained killer, hence the reason he was made a hunter. I was nervous, nay maybe even scared for my life, but i had a job to do. I had a very small window to attack. As my target approached me i knew it was now or never, so i took a shot... thankfully he was unable to retaliate. i thought that my day was done then since i had neutralized my target. all that was left was to report back to the guild leader, but no... I was on my way out to my vehicle to go home, but just as I got there something happened. Out of nowhere I heard these monstrous thundering steps closing in on me and when I turned to see what it was BLAM... I took a shot in the back, I was able to turn and see my attacker there with a smoking gun in his hand. Then everything just faded to black." ----------------------------------------------------------- The Devil Dog's story: " I had just come back from a long trip from home. The trip was long, hot, and boring. First thing I did when I got back was I looked at my email to see who my target was. The list was sent out the day when I was out of town and I was not able to see who my target was until now. My assumption was that it would be an easy target and it was. On the screen of my computer it read The Zero. I knew the face and I knew the target, it was going to be easy or so I thought. While at work I came across some intel that a hit took place outside. A clean head shot was made and his imaginary brains were spilled all over the front of the building. My gut started to hurt knowing that an assassin was out there waiting for me. As soon as work was over, I checked my gun and cocked it. It was a single action and the accuracy sucked, but it still packed a punch. As soon as I walked out the doors my hand was on the gun ready for the assassin. Yet the assassin was not in sight, nor was he waiting for me. As I neared my car I saw The Zero walking with his fiancée to her car. I knew this was the moment and I had to push back the fear in my mind that another assassin was out there waiting for me. I started to walk slowly to The Zero to make sure he didn't noticed me, but he was moving too fast to the car. Finally I broke and ran with my gun in my hand and shot The Zero in the back. Imaginary blood exploded from his chest as the nerf some how passed through. The Zero turned around in horror as I reloaded another round and feebly put his arm up in defense which did not help as the second nerf round blew his arm into his heart. The fiancee found this interesting and said "Wow, you're dead!" As his breath escaped him he told me of his target which he, himself The Zero could not get. The dice had been rolled and The Zero failed his constitution check and died. I left his still breathing lifeless corpse and leaving The Zero's fiancee to wonder how to clean the imaginary blood off the car. The next target was in my sight and it will only be a matter of time before they died." |
July 26, 2006 The Zero's story: "I stalked my target for many hours looking for the perfect moment to strike... after much looking I finally found a perfect opening, my target was relaxing in her home environment eating breakfast compleatly unaware, and as I am always invited in I just went up and shot her as she ate. she didnt even know what was coming." |
