The majority of the rules are from other Guilds, including London, Cambridge, Durham, and KAOS in New Zealand, and adapted for use in Idaho. Any change in rules will be posted on the home page prior to their implimentation.

Conduct
The purpose of this game is to have fun! If you're not having fun, you're probably either being too serious or not doing it right.
You must be honest. Otherwise this game won't work. If you are killed, you need to report it to the game organizer...and if you die, there will be other chances to play again.
It may seem obvious to most of you, but do not break the law or attempt something stupid/dangerous for the sake of this game.
Please use your head.
You are entirely responsible for your own behavior. Do not inconvenience the general public and the other students on campus...oh and especially the Moscow Police. We don't want to bother them, and we don't want them to bother us.
|
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to participate - we don't want to have to deal with 'parental permission' for you to be able to participate.
Must live in Moscow (Idaho, not Russia :p) for the duration of any game you sign up for.

How to play the game, in brief
Before the game starts, go to the
signup page
and e-mail the game organizer with your information.
When the game begins, you'll be e-mailed with your target's name and your target's general description. Try to kill that person.
When your targets dies (either killed by you or someone else), you will be sent a new target.
If you kill someone (or are killed), send a report to the organizer.
We want to know who died and how, so if you kill someone or are killed by someone, send a report to
the organizer... the most interesting will be posted on the main page.
(sometimes it's best if both people send in a report so we can get both sides of the story)
If you don't die, and you're the last person alive, pat yourself on the back: You've won.

Killing
When the game begins, you will be sent an e-mail which contains your targets information (name and general description) and will be given a new target within 24 hours of a valid reported kill.
You can kill a person by successfully hitting the torso or head
If a limb is hit, it can no longer be used for the duration of the encounter
killing bystanders is to be avoided even when the effect is harmless.
(repeated killing of bystanders will result in placement on the wanted list)
Legal Targets:
*The Target assigned to you by the game organizer.
*Anyone presently trying to assassinate you.
*Any
assassins
clearly holding a weapon. (If you aren't certain they are part of the guild,
it's best not to try and assassinate them - they may have a fake weapon for something else)
*Anyone on the
wanted list.
Non-Players and dead players are not allowed to kill anyone.
|
Wanted/Incomptent List
A player's name will be added to the wanted list for a minor infraction of the rules (such as killing an invalid target)
Players on the wanted list are valid targets for any player including the
Hunters, so it's generaly better to avoid becoming 'wanted'.
If you do not make an attempt on your target within three (3) days you will be put on the incompetent list.
If placed on the Incompetent list, you become a target for the Hunters.
