The Never Before Told Story of the Most By Silver King For the first time in 2 years, EIW officials tell the tale of the releases of Skull Krusher and Jonny Hollywood. First, let me take you back in time to March of 1998. The EIW World Title was vacated, and a tournament was scheduled to determine who would fight for the belt at Lights Out Over Madison 98 in April. This is where the story begins. At the TV tapings, there were problems back stage with both men. Johnny Hollywood was refusing to go on TV unless EIW allowed his real life girlfriend to be his valet. EIW had already allowed members of Johnnys band to appear on the show, and they had become members of this faction. EIW officials gave in after Johnny stated that it was "my way, or no way at all, fellas." At the time, EIW was phasing out the female valets, and as a result Skull Krushers valet, Miss Claudia was removed from TV tapings. Needless to say SK was not happy about this situation. As a result, both men refused to do any TV segments together. The situation became a lot worse at the PPV. Skull Krusher refused to attend the event and asked for his release. Executive President Bruce Gaemann promptly gave him his release. After the PPV, Johhny Hollywood asked for a release, citing that he wanted to devote time to his Rock and Roll career. Once again Bruce Gaemann gave the release. One month later, Bruce Gaemann was fired from EIW. In one month, EIW had lost 2 of its top Superstars and one executive. But now the girls are back!
