WHO-A THON

Eight hours of engrossing Doctor Who videos were presented at The Who-A-Thon, May 4. The videos were provided by Greg Bakun. He says that assembling the schedule of Doctor Who episodes was the most enjoyable part of organizing the event and he tried to find videos that not even the most faithful Doctor Who fan had seen before. His schedule included a number of Doctor Who documentaries, rare episodes and "The Five Doctors" (extended version with new updated effects). The day ended with eighteen minutes of scenes from the new Doctor Who movie "Enemy Within," with the warning that the scenes included spoilers that gave away plot detail. Greg advised that although the quality of some episodes shown may not have been one hundred per cent, the important thing was that fans of the series got together and celebrated the return of the Doctor.
