Also very self-explanatory! You can tell by the way my lower legs are bent backwards that I was not having a good leg day by then. Getting off the bus just about did me in.

If I have any one regret about being so knackered in by the 3rd Pyramid, it was that I wasn't able to get down and take a picture up close, like those other folks are doing. It would have been neat to see them up close and personal, and I might have been able to get some good, worms-eye shots.

Fortunately, as those other folks are in this picture, you can really get a sense of how large those Colossi are. They stand at 18 meters high -- about the height of a modern, 6-story building.
