Close-up of the lantern room of the Cape
Elizabeth "Two Lights" eastern
tower.

In this section of the website we would like
to share some pictures we have
taken over
the years of some of Maine's
beautiful lighthouses.
Some background information is listed about
the lights, but there are many web sites
out there that have much more comprehensive
information. Therefore, for each light, I
have listed a web page that has a nice history
of each light, maps to get there and other
photographs.
Listed to the left are all of the lighthouses
we have pictures of, and they are listed
in geographical order... the first light
is the southernmost light we have pictures
of. Click on the link to go to that light!
High-resolution photos available
If you would like copies of selected lighthouse
photos for your desktop, they are available
by visiting the following web site: Webshots Desktop. Membership is free. The required software
download is also free, and you will enjoy
using it to display desktop wallpaper and
also use it as your screensaver. You can
download not only our photos, but literally
millions of others in a wide variety of themes!
