Fantasy & Science Fiction is another magazine that is usually mentioned, besides Asimovs, as printing some critically acclaimed fiction.
As its title suggest, this magazine prints both Fantasy and Science Fiction stories, although it probably tends to print more fantasy stories. Formerly edited by Kristine Katherine Rusch, F&SF is now edited by Gordon Van Gelder.
The magazine features at least one top notch story in each issue and has a more clearly defined 'boundary' as to what is a Science Fiction and what is a Fantasy story, in contrast to Asimov's Science Fiction, whose boundary is not as cleary defined.
