Probably one of the most difficult that I've ever been asked to do is answer the, "Tell me about yourself" question. I suppose that the easiest way to start is to tell you why I've set this site up. There were, in fact, several reasons: I needed a place to host a portfolio of some of my work in game and web design; I wanted to be able to store some of my projects in a place not on my hard drive; since I don't seem to create backups often enough and it was just a fun project!
You see, I have more hobbies than a man could hope to ever be able to keep up with in a single lifetime. Most of them revolve around various types of games and game-related subjects. I have been playing Dungeons and Dragons, for instance, since 1991 and have been developing quests, adventures, levels, and whole campaign settings for it since then. For a few years, I was addicted to a small, little-known game called VGA Planets for which I developed strategy guides, and wrote addon software to enhance or alter game play. I have recently (as recently as the Winter of '07) gotten involved in the global phenom known as World of Warcraft, and have ressurected my interest in the Elder Scrolls series of RPGs.
However, my interests are not limited to games. I write a lot of computer software and scripts, mods, tutorials and the like; even though most of the time these are written for games, it is really just because it's a good way to practice. I write code in C++ and Java, have mastered HTML, CSS, JavaScript, DHTML and have worked with XML and other markup languages. I enjoy creative writing and rather than attempt to author the next great American novel, I write storylines and adventures for Dungeons and Dragons.
