Jenn's Fanfic Indulgence

aka The Final Frontier

Updates...October 15, 2001

Okies. No updates of this page, but big updates to my Indulgence site. First off, the round robin I accidentally started seriously took off and is now running at forty-four stories, with no end in sight. I've added several stories to the RR myself, so feel free to go check it out. No L&L outtakes have been added recently.

Jus Ad Bellum is up to four parts and roughly three hundred fifteen pages. Yes, that's a lot of story. No, I'm not moving it here yet, because, frankly, I so do not have the time, but I'm going to try and make time someday soon.

Altruistic, my little writing exercise, has three sequels, originally named Altruistic II, III, and IV. I'll be moving it here as soon as I get an hour to do so. I don't think anything else has been added I need to worry about, but thought I'd try to keep up to date.Let's do this categorically.
Added "Elemental: The Last Love and Lust Story", which is number 32 and brings this series to a close, as well as number thirty-one, "Improper Thoughts". The Outtakes are still being written by other authors, but all of those are archived on Indulgence, so read there if interested in seeing where else this universe decided to go.
Added "In Which Jubilee Examines a Scene", a ficlet I wrote a Long Time Ago and forgot about.
Added "Touch and Other Unnatural Phenomenon", sort of sequelish to "Instinct".
Added "Altruistic", sort of this weird writing exercise/AU.
Added "Never Have I..." #2 in the WaR/WRB round robin I sort of forgot to ever upload from November.
And, added a strange new series. No, I haven't lost my mind...this was utterly spontaneous. "Not Unspoken" by me and Sare Liz, "Between the Lines" by Andariel, "He Always Wore Glasses; She Always Wore Gloves" by Minisinoo, and "Unbroken" by Shana Nolan. God, these are good writers. Why on earth are they bothering with me?
Jus Ad Bellum is large. Large and scary and I REALLY don't feel like moving it yet. Roughly two hundred fifteen pages still unfinished--if you want to read it, go to Indulgence. It obsessed my summer and managed to give me some serious headaches. Feel free to read.

On 8/4/01, added "No Guarantees", the fourth in the "How Things Change" series, and L/J to boot. Go figure. On my wr.com site, have a rec page going--I need to add my Voyager favorites soon, but just haven't had time. Darn me.

Added "Light Inescapable", a Witchblade the series fic, co-written with Sare Liz. I refuse to add another fandom. Absolutely. So CLICK HERE. Okay, I probably WILL add another fandom, but I don't have time to do a directory for it at the second. You might notice to your left there in the links is a new section called fic chronology. I got bored and listed out every fanfic I've written. That is the result. I'm surprised.

On 7/14/01--added "Letting Go", third in the Logan/Jean series "How Things Change", "Soft on Bright #5: St. John", and "A Little More Than Intimate", which is some smutty L/R navel-gazing. It's weird, I tell you.

6/27/01--Added "What You Leave Behind" and "Projections", a strange little Logan/Jean series that is making me curious as to what on earth I'm doing.

Added "The Longest Day: Remember" and "The Longest Day: Not Forgotten". Which brings the L & L up to thirty-one stories. Geez louise.

5/20/01--Added "Illusions Part IV: All the Lights of the Soul" to X-Men fanfiction. It was exhausting. And on a personal note, I finally got a tape of episodes for this seasons Voyager from Sandra. Lineage rocked.

4/28/01: Added "The Best Thing", sequel to "Hope". I think I'm all caught up now.

4/23/01: Massive Update, because I've been neglectful:

To the On Love and Lust at Mutant High series--The Longest Day: The Proposal; The Longest Day: Execution; and The Longest Day: Remember. Also added the L & L Cliff Notes page, for those who just get confused and this really cool L & L diagram, courtesey of Sare Liz, based on a design by Diebin. Love them.

To Soft on Bright series--Scott by jenn, Jean by Sare Liz, Bobby by jenn, and Ororo by Sare Liz

To the Bitterness series: Off-Center and to the Left by jenn

To regular stuff--Exceptions, Just Breathe, and On a Man and His Penis.

3/23/01Added Twenty Minutes Away, In the Dark, and An Interlude to the "On Love and Lust at Mutant High Series, bringing us to a grand total of twenty-six. Yes, I'm excited too. Also added Hope, which is sort of odd yet fun. Oh the joys of X-Mania.

3/13/01--Added four more in the "On Love and Lust at Mutant High" series--the last four Tending Toward Destructive parts. Also added Illusions Part III and a little short, disturbing Bedtime Stories. No, I haven't seen Hannibal yet, but it's possible I need to. :).

3/5/01--Added five more stories to the series--Anomalous Happenings, the three-part Aftershocks mini-arc, and Tending Toward Destructive: Thing One. St. John is getting active. And will one day get laid.

2/28/01--Added five more stories to the "On Love and Lust at Mutant High" series. Our Hero, Johnny, becomes quite the little unwilling spy and Logan stalks the school for answers. St. John gave me yesterday off so I could dye my hair blonde (btw, didn't work, damn it) but woke up today asking whether or not he was ever gonna get Bobby. Hmmm.

Added nine stories! New series "On Love and Lust at Mutant High", the adventures of the young pyrokinetic St. John and his semi-requited lust for young Robert Drake! St. John lives with me and nags me. I really don't have a choice here.

My X-Men stories now have a new home--though of course I'll keep updatinghere, just not at the same rate. The lovely Diebin has given me a pretty little space of my own at www.wolverineandrogue.com/seperis to play. I'm very happy about this. It's still very plain, but people, geocities was down for me for over two weeks. I was getting desperate.

Added Grey Water to X-Men page--Toadfic, believe it or not, and slash to boot. And I like him. How very odd. Thanks to Shade of cfan for the challenge.

Added A Promise of Safety: Prologue to "Sleeping With Dogtags", a collaborative series authored by me and Sare Liz. Even has its own page.

Added An Unusual Situation Part IV to X-Men page. Okay, someone, send me a life, because this is WAY too many fics in too little time.

On February 7, added "Bitterness: Nocturne - Op. 9, No. 1 in B-flat Minor" by Sare Liz to X-Men page, Bitterness series (A Lingering Taste, Unnatural). She's awesome, ain't she?

On February 6, added "One Reason" to X-Men page. No foofyness in sight, though really, I can say with a straight face that I hate to make my characters too unhappy, they must be compensated. And while I'm on the subject, please remind Sare and Diebin to stop giving me ideas. Thank you.

On February 4, added "Instinct" to X-Men page. Foofyness. I like happy endings. Don't worry, this is alot of stories for me in one week. I'll slow down.

On February 3, added "For Now: Sunday (A/U of At Eighteen)". It's not part of the series anymore, but it was among my first X-Men fics and decided to get rid of it. Not that great.

On February 1, added "Close Your Eyes: A For Now Coda on 2/2/01. The For Now series is done. Let us all party or something. At some point before today, I added An Unusual Situation Part III and apparently forgot to mention it. Bad jenn!

No, One Word is still in progress.
No, Absolute Zero is still in progress.
No, Images in a Broken Mirror is still in progress.
Yes, there will be more Illusions very soon. Yes, there will be more An Unusual Situation very soon. Yes, Love and Lust is still adding stories, but since it's technically a series, not a novelish thing, we're good, right? No, I have not forgotten any of them and I will finish them, and thank you very much for your patience :).
Ummm...any others I need to be aware of, btw?

I'm removing my updates page for now--I always forget. If you have JavaScript activated,
little JavaScript windows will appear for updates, otherwise it will be updated above.
