*Heather's mentor is Kyla Dragonslayer.
Heather started young running with a bad crowd, which
ran her right into the streets of Detroit. Moving from groups of transient
punks, to living with drug dealers, to seeking shelter with other "ladies
of lowly employ" she finally hit bottom and sought escape to a "normal"
life. She found a a job waitressing at a local sports bar and a small apartment
in Ypsilanti where the rents are low, but still near her home town of Ann
Arbor. Haunted by strange violent dreams and waking each night amid
sweaty, torn sheets, she dismissed it all as her body's reaction to the
unfamiliar absence of drugs and dangerous living.
Shortly after moving in, a friendly neighbor invited
to her to a party in her new complex. At the party, she runs into an old
"aquaintance" - a dealer and abuser from years back, who tempts her with
a new drug, and implies other offers. Angered by her own temptation,
and at this creep who invaded her life just as she was getting it back
together, their conversation rose to confrontation, until she was totally
enraged! A man and another woman from the party intervene, and help her
slip out of the apartment, but not before she notices that they - and she
herself - look like huge wolf monsters! In a blur of events that she would
not begin to comprehend until much later, she and her new companions seem
to dissolve, and then reappear in a strange new world...
(Heather became Alpha of Wyvern's Claw by a democratic
vote. She is still adjusting to the intricacies of Garou society.
Thus far, she has done a good job of looking out for her pack and has settled
some of her personal demons by getting rid of her former dealer and part
of his supply line.---Kelly, the Webmistress)
