he Exodus of Man occurred approximately 1300 years ago. The race of man fled from another world to this orb of Mysaniti. It is not known any longer what dread force they fled before. Any references to it have been lost to the annals of history. It is known that powerful versions of the gate spell were employed by the leading wizards of that time to bring the humans to a location near what is now the city-state of Ghal'Far. This city was supposedly named for the wizard who planned and executed the exodus.

Believing themselves on an unpopulated world, the refugees set about constructing a home. Shortly after the first buildings were constructed, the new arrivals were shocked when an elven lightship stumbled across them while patroling the borders of the Diergan Desert.

The leaders of the Exodus found themselves welcomed by the elves, not as refugees, but as new found allies. On this world, an aeons old battle between the Children of Lolth and the forces of good had been waging. The addition of the human forces to the side of good has tipped the scales back to the forces of Law, resulting in an ongoing stalemate.

Three of the four existing human city-states have been built upon elven ruins. The northern City of Mirrors is one such, having been built upon the ruins of Myth Annaman. Myth Annaman was destroyed during the Outpouring of the tanar'ri from Hell's Gap. Myth Annaman means Mirrored Waters.
-question posed to Myl'Gafar, teacher in the House of Doors
Hells Gap was created 1700 years ago when a coalition of drow sorcerers and duergar psionicists teamed up to fling the dwarven citadel of Del'Garath into the Abyss. The drow and duergar did not expect their workings to be so successful, and as a result ended flinging themselves into the Abyss as well. Dur Mor'Dean was settled by survivors of this catastrophe. The Abyssal land brought to Mysaniti in this fashion still retains its Abyssal properties..
Moradins Basin was extremely heavily settled by elves, halflings, and gnomes prior to the Hell's Gap disaster. The resulting Outpouring of tanar'ri decimated the unprepared population. The serious change of weather from the Abyssal influences also caused further starvation and death. This has resulted in a large number of ruins to be present in the Moradins Basin, which has allowed the humans to move into the area without any friction with the present populations..

The humans aerial navy fought in a viscous battle with a fainal raiding squad of citadels at Kites Peak some 23 years ago. The human aerial navy, what's left of it, was rescued by elven light ships at the last possible moment and saved from total annihilation. The human forces are barely able to hold their own ground, at this time. The work of 500 years went down in that battle and the cities are frantically rebuilding...
-Felderan O'Insky, adventurer, when asked if he had ever been to Talornian.
Centuries before the advent of humans upon Mysaniti the elven and dwarven nations carved a mountaintop from with in the Blades of Winter Mountain Range and flung it aloft to form the floating island/city of Talornian. It roams the world housing several dwarven, elven, and halfling clans. Talornian is considered a great cultural achievement by all three groups. From here, the elves and dwarves can continue their war against the fainal citadels and the Xakhun fleets in an extremely mobile fashion.
Since that time, several smaller islands have also been flung aloft and populated. The avariel are known to populate several of these islands. The Xakhun are also commonly believed to have successfully seized one of these floating islands and to be using it for a raiding base...
"Keeper, what happened to the Tree that stood in Myth Annaman?"
-Keeper initiate to the Keeper of the Tree in Myth Nal'Avassir
Myth Annaman was an elven city standing at the mouth of the River Ringard in the days of Nal Avissar's height. It fell during the Outpouring to the tanar'ri. The elven defenders cast many powerful magics in an effort to destroy the tanar'ri before they were overrun. A portion of the city slid into the river in a massive earthquake. When the dust finally cleared, all that remained was the ruins of the city, the mythal, and the tanar'ri. During the Reclamation of Moradins Basin, the elven forces slaughtered every single tanar'ri found within Myth Annamans ruins. But of the Tree of Life, no sign was ever found. Not even an old leaf.
And the elves were divided, those within and those without. And the gods had pity on those without.
-fragment from an elven history text dating to the Outpouring
Nal'Avissar was an elven nation dwelling in Moradins Basin for many thousands of years before the Outpouring. The tanar'ri onslaught was so fierce that the elven forces were simply obliterated. In an effort to preserve the elven people, the Keepers in Myth Nal'Avissar sealed the forest, and the mythal, from entry by any person. The tanar'rinever breached this barrier, though they tried for many a long year. Those who survived those long years are the forefathers of the Tale'sin.
For those elves not within the confines of Myth Nal'Avissar, life was extremely tough. They were hunted and hounded by the tanar'ri, and without Myth Annaman to protect them, they had no where to go. The survivors of these dark days became the O'Tasin.
"Ferry-man, what buildings are those I see under the water?"
-a passenger to Gheildar, ferryman
During the defense of Myth Annaman from the Outpouring, some of the elven mages made use of the earth against the tanar'ri. They triggered quakes and floods within Myth Annaman as the city was being over run. This was only partially succesful. A portion of Myth Annaman ended up under the River Ringard and the earth. Such was the craftsmanship of the elven stonewrights that the ruins still stand upon the river bottom today.
